Bird Watching
Come to Manor Park for a Saturday morning bird walk. Local birding expert and Audubon board member will coach you in the art of quietly observing nature. Peruse the e-Bulletin for the next Saturday. All ages welcome, including parents with interested children.

CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) Basketball – Children’s Program
For all parishioners’ children in 3rd through 8th grades. Our goal is for interested children to participate and learn the basics and fundamentals of basketball—and thus, of teamwork and sportsmanship. Practice is usually once a week; games are scheduled once or twice a week.

Health & Wellness Series
Healthy and holy sound similar in some languages—‘sain et saint’ in French; ‘sano e santo’ in Italian and in Spanish. As we take care of ourselves, so we learn to take care of others. This speaker series was inaugurated in the spring of 2013 with Victoria Assumma of Hospice Care of Westchester & Putnam speaking to us about end of life issues. Planned future topics are foster care and adoption. To volunteer to help organize a talk or just to add your name to our list of interested participants…

Men’s or Women’s Basketball
Men’s group gathers on Saturday mornings (40s and up) and Sunday evenings (20s and 30s) to play basketball and to share in athletic camaraderie. Women’s group TBA. Open to those from St. Augustine and the larger community.

A supportive and playful atmosphere created for parents and their children aged 0-3+. The group meets most Fridays, September through June, in the back stage room of Kenny Hall.

Saint Monica’s Gardeners
We plant and nurture various gardens in and around the church grounds—as well as a vegetable garden behind the rectory whose harvest is donated to the HOPE food pantry in New Rochelle.
